Before installing the Internet download manager uninstall the Internet download manager if it is pre-installed. Go to Control panel>> uninstall the program and search for Internet Download manager. If it's Installed, right-click on it and Uninstall it. After Installing the older version of an internet download manager, Install the new Internet download manager you had downloaded. To Install, this version just follows the below steps. 
  • Open the zip file
  • Click on the installation file with extension .exe
  • Just Go for next>> next>> next>> buttons
  • Finish the installation

Copying cracks into IDM directory

After the installation is complete you have to manually copy the crack file and paste it into the internet download manager folder in c drive. Without copying crack into the directory, your IDM will not work. To acquire the registered version just follow these steps 
  • Copy IDMan.exe file 
  • Go to C-drive>> Program files>> Internet Download manager>> and paste 

Extension Integration

Extension integration is very important, as if your Internet download manager is not integrated with the browser, you will not be able to download any files through the Internet download manager. So to integrate internet download manager with the browser. Open the browser and the Internet download manager will automatically integrate with the browser. In some cases, the Chrome browser does not integrate automatically or maybe you have installed the Internet download manager in someplace other than C-drive. So in that case, you have to manually Integrate the Internet download manager. To manually integrate the Internet download manager, follow these steps

Chrome browser Integration

  • Open Chrome browser
  • Go to setting of Chrome browser
  • To Open setting Go to the right-upper corner of the browser and click on the icon with three horizontal lines
  • A drop-down menu will open, now see for the setting and click on setting
  • A page like this will appear
  • Now click on the extension tab
  • After clicking on the extension tab, minimize your browser
  • Go to C-drive  >> Program files >> Internet download manager
  • search (.crx) without parenthesis
  • Drag the .crz file onto the browser and drop it into the extension tab

    • You will see a notification that the Internet download manager extension was successfully added.

Firefox Browser integration

Open Firefox browser and see for the three horizontal lines on the right-upper corner of your browser
Click on these lines, a drop-down menu will appear.
Click on Add-ons and extensions page will be opened
Now go to C-drive>>Program files>> Internet download manager
Search for (.crx) without parenthesis 
Drag the .crx file onto the extension tab of your firefox browser and leave it
You will see a notification saying Internet download manager successfully integrated
