In this article, I will show different methods of finding suitable drivers and downloading those drivers for your system and complete a guide to Install those drivers. Finding the suitable and correct drivers for your device is never an easy task, But if you carefully follow this guide then it will not be that hard to find and install drivers for your System devices. In this article, I have mentioned three different methods on how to install drivers for your system. I hope it will help you.


So lets the fun begin

Open Device Manager 

Device Manager allows you to check that if all the devices are working properly. If any device is missing a driver it will be marked with a yellow exclamatory mark. To open Device Manager 
  1. Window 8: Press window key+X
  2. Window 10: Right-click on Start icon and select Device Manager
In Pic below, Devices marked yellow does have the driver installed.


How To Install Drivers

There are many methods to install drivers. Few of them I will explain below
  1. Update Drivers
  2. Install from a specific location
  3. Use Driver software (Driver Identifier)

Update Drivers

This is the easiest way for updating a driver for your device. if your device is not working properly and you have a working internet connection, you can use this method.
To update the driver,
  1. Right-click on the specified device 
  2. Click Update driver software
  3. Search automatically for updated driver software

Install from a specific location

If you have the driver stored in your computer or you have Driver CD which contains drivers you can use this method. To install those drivers stored on your PC or on CD follow these steps
  1. Right-click on the specified device in Device Manager
  2. Click Update driver software
  3. Browse my computer for driver software
  4. Select specified driver or CD-drive containing drivers and  Install it

Use Driver Identifier

This method comes in handy when you don't want to waste time by finding the versions and models of your devices and their specified drivers. Driver Identifier will search your device and collect information of all the devices and will also suggest u, suitable drivers.

Download Driver Identifier

This is very efficient software and very easy to use. The most difficult task is to find the correct drivers for your system. This software will find suitable drivers for your system in no time. I personally use this software and it's very efficient

How to Use Driver Identifier

Driver Identifier is very easy to use. When you are finished installing Open Driver Identifier. You will see a Small box or button reading Scan Drivers as you can see in the picture below. Is also contains a Checkbox which refers to If you don't have an internet connection. I will recommend checking that box.
Click on the Scan Drivers Button. This will lead this software to scan your system. When scanning is finished, it will generate a file. Save that file. This file will contain information on all the missing drivers on your system. Run that file and it will take you to your browser. This will lead you to all the missing drivers shown with a yellow exclamation mark. To download those drivers use the following steps

  1. Click on download.
  2. A new tab will be opened.
  3. Select your Firmware and Operating system. 
  4. Click on download Driver.
  5. It will ask you for registration.
  6. Fill the registration form and the Driver will start downloading.
